born 1967, in India, studied architecture at CEPT, Ahmedabad and did her masters in Appropriate Technology (ARTES) from University of Flensburg, Germany in 1994.

Since then she has been practicing architecture in Auroville, sharing an office with her husband Poppo Pingel. Her works explore Baubiologie (Building Biology) in a tropical climate focusing on the relationship between building and health of the users and the planet as a whole.  She sees architects as Agents of Change who can consciously influence the lifestyle choices that clients make.
